Brahmastra starring Ranbir and Alia is coming to OTT. Brahmastra: Part One- Shiva, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, is now available on Disney+ Hotstar. On the platform, the film was released in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada. Brahmastra is unique in that it marks Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's first collaboration. Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy also play important roles in the film. The film grossed approximately Rs 256.39 crore in India and approximately Rs 400.82 crore globally. Brahmastra hit theatres on September 9.

On November 4, Brahmastra was released on Disney+ Hotstar in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada. According to Ayan Mukerji, the film is a grand celebration of Indian culture, spirituality, and a product of when history meets technology. Hotstar accounts for approximately 58 million of Disney+'s global 221 million paid subscribers. Only in India, Indonesia, and a few other Asian markets is the service known as Hotstar.
To be sure, after losing the rights to live-stream Indian Premier League matches for the next five years, Disney+ Hotstar is going all out to beef up its entertainment content and keep subscribers, particularly in India, on the platform.
About Brahmastra
Brahmastra is part of the three-part Astraverse trilogy and was made on a budget of around Rs 450 crore. It centres on Shiva, a young man who is in love with Isha. Due to a series of events, Shiva discovers he has a link to the most powerful supernatural weapon or astra Brahmastra, the group wielding it or Brahmansh, and a battle to control the Brahmastra. Dharma Productions and Disney co-produced the film.
Sequel
In the first instalment, Ranbir Kapoor played Shiva, and Alia Bhatt played his lady love, Isha. The second instalment will reportedly focus on Shiva's parents, Dev and Amrita. Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji, will be a three-part film series. The 'Astraverse,' created by Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, is a fantasy world based on Indian mythology.
